Your personalized property portal is great for:

    • Monitoring the live progress of your appeal
    • Completing your annual property survey
    • Uploading and retrieving necessary files and documents
    • Learning more about your property and potential savings

Before you can claim an account, you need to sign up at least one property for Ownwell’s property tax appeal service by going to “Start Your Appeal” in the upper right corner. From there we make it super easy to set a password and access your property portal.

If you already have a property signed up, but do not have a property portal account follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to our Claim Account page directly at ownwell.com/claim. Or Click “Sign In” in the ownwell.com header, navigate to the bottom of the page, and click “Claim Account”.

    2. Enter the email address you used when signing up your property.

    3. Check that same email address for an email from Ownwell. In the email click “Set Password”.
If you didn’t receive an email, check your spam folder and allow up to five minutes for the email to arrive. If you are still having trouble, submit a request.

    4. Set a password that’s at least 8 characters long and click “Sign In”.

    5. Explore your new property portal! If no properties are listed, you may have used another email to sign up. Please try an alternative email address to create a property portal account.
