Uploading documents in your Property Portal helps strengthen your appeal. For cases involving recent purchases, investment properties, or property damage, strong evidence can significantly improve your chances of a reduction.
Please note that damage or repairs under $5,000 rarely reduce a property's assessed value.

Upload other documents to your property portal
- Sign in: https://www.ownwell.com/sign-in
- Click Documents in the navigation (left sidebar on desktop, â° menu on mobile)
- Select Upload Documents
- Select the appeal year, property, and document type
- Attach your files and click Complete
Youâll see a confirmation message once your documents are successfully uploaded.
View your uploaded documents
- Scroll to the View Documents section at the bottom of the page
- Your Uploads includes files youâve added (via survey or manual upload)
- Ownwell Uploads includes documents shared by our team
